"Transporter 2" is an action film released on December 12, 2002, and stars Jason Statham and Claire Forlani. The movie is the sequel to "Transporter," and picks up where the first one had left off.When Frank Martin (Jason Statham) has a transporter device implanted in his head by some bad men while he was sitting in a prison cell waiting for transport out of France, he must carry out one last job before escaping from prison with the help of new friend Julie (Claire Forlani). With people what they want him to transport, Frank learns that each gets more than they bargained for—and no matter which person transports who, chaos ensues throughout Paris. The film opened at #2 and grossed $10.7 million its opening weekend, behind "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets".
